#Sudan ’s army has regained control of the state radio and television in Omdurman after one of the most fiercest battles between the army and the RSF overnight. It’s a major victory for the army which has been steadily recapturing territory back from the RSF in recent months.

Stopped at a pharmacy earlier for some meds, banking app was down when I came to pay. Several people also couldn’t pay. The pharmacist refused to take back meds from customers, wrote acc number + amount on their bags to pay when service is back. Humanity at its best❤️ #Sudan

#Sudan announces total lockdown of #Khartoum state starting Saturday following the discovery of 10 new cases of coronavirus, the highest recorded in the country in the past 24 hours. Two have died, bringing the death toll from the virus to 4 and number of cases to 29.

RSF drones targeted the military hospital in Omdurman, one of the few remaining functioning hospitals in the city killing three and injuring several others. Targeting hospitals is a war crimes under the Geneva Convention. #Sudan

First morning in four days with no sounds of heavy artillery in the central part of Khartoum, the result of SAF air strikes on Monday. Fighting overnight and this morning seems to be focused on Khartoum North where RSF has a lot of camps. #Sudan

Agreement is meant to allow for humanitarian aid to come in to Khartoum and for RSF to vacate hospitals and other facilities such as water and power plants. Signing an agreement though, is not the same as implementing it.

#Sudan ’s former President Bashir found guilty of possession of foreign currency, sentenced to 2 yrs in a rehabilitation center for being over 70... in 1989, Bashir’s govt sentenced a man to death after charging him with the same crime.
