Scenes from the former sit-in site in Khartoum look very much like past scenes from Darfur, Blue Nile and Nuba Mountains. And the perpetrators are all the same.
Week 4... Smoke rises from the presidential palace following an air strike. SAF and RSF envoys are in Jeddah for indirect talks on a ceasefire to allow for humanitarian corridors. SAF says no peace talks for the time being. Rest of the capital relatively quiet.

In Geneina, there is an emerging pattern of targeted attacks against civilians on ethnic basis allegedly committed by Arab militias and some men in RSF uniform. If verified, these attacks could amount to crimes against humanity.

To add to the chaos, former S. Kordofan governor and ICC-wanted Ahmed Haroun has released an audio confirming he and others from the dissolved former ruling National Congress Party are out of Kober Prison. The prison was broken into on Sunday.
