@themajorityscot Various religions at the RC school I attended. Also taught about other faiths. What wasn’t taught was hatred of anyone, the thing with Scotland’s sectarian problem is that it’s cultivated at home. You are talking pish or your school was uniquely pish.

When we went to Catholic school it was, unsurprisingly, only Catholics. No Jews, no Muslims, no Protestants. No understanding of other religions and cultures at all. A big part of Scotland's sectarian problem.

@henke_hoops @themajorityscot No problems in England & Wales who have plenty Catholic schools and if the school is the problem why the bigotry in non dom school pupils? Our town has more lodges & band halls than social clubs which is more of an issue. Bigotry starts at home

@fergustp @themajorityscot It does start at home, the argument for ending denominational schooling falls flat always. For example kids on my street go to 6 different primary schools for various reasons, why is it only the RC school that gets called out as separating kids? The answer is deep rooted bigotry.

@henke_hoops @themajorityscot Clearly a raging hun who’s had so little to cheer about in footballing terms theyve had to try and take us down. Pure cringeworthy

@henke_hoops @themajorityscot Said the very same too. Any Sectarianism from pupils was nipped in the bud very quickly, wasn't a good idea at all. Seen sectarian abuse n bigotry directed Towards RC pupils hundreds of times (at least) so if his point is valid what's being taught elsewhere?
