the thing is once you delete apps either for a period of time or fully, you learn moderation. i could go on insta now and it wouldn’t interest me to stay on there for hours like it used to. tiktok… honestly id just completely stay away from if you want to be more productive.

this creates discipline. if you make sure you stick to doing something it’ll soon become a habit and won’t seem so hard anymore. my 3 were: at least 30 minutes of exercise daily, 10 minutes of daily meditation/mindfulness and no caffeine (ahh).

my work desk is upstairs so i keep my phone downstairs. if it’s in the same room or even a room next to me, i know i’ll be tempted. work mode needs to be FULLY focussed. if i doze off or stare at the wall, it’s better than going on my phone bc once i’m on it, i won’t get off.

i watch youtube more than anything. the recommendations were my biggest weakness bc id always find a new video to watch. so i set a limit on it. if you use it for school, there’s a chrome extension called unhook which blocks recs so you won’t be tempted to click on random videos!
