Over the last year we’ve levelled up the @vercel Design System "Geist", for precision, polish and collaboration. First step in the refresh was creating 500+ icons to pair with our new typeface. 1.5px stroke; the 3px @2x sweet spot. Miter/bevel joins because you know we’re edgy.

The web redo gave us a lot: An accessibility first, WCAG compliant color system. @zjurgen ’s graceful UX writing shaped consistent and friendly product language. Responsive, type, icon, and style principles gave reliability to the design team—all recorded in a new DS. 2/4

@emilyvc_ and I redesigned the overrides list to be intelligible. Now everything is sorted by type. Colors and styles are grouped based on commonality—allowing batch changes from the top. Symbols get their own section to illustrate nested structures. 3/4

Tenet is a technical feat, but god, Nolan needs to fix his sound mixing. Maybe he's oblivious to the fact he knows the script inside out. The audience will have such a hard time following his exposition dumps in loud scenes.
