A massive congratulations to Mr Hendry for completing the Ironman Wales event at the weekend which involved a 3.8km swim, 180km bike course and a full marathon (42km). Mr Hendry has displayed a growth mindset when training for months in all weathers. Well done Mr Hendry!

Today we saw the end of Mrs Carney's teaching career as she heads off to retirement. After 16 years she will be greatly missed. We managed a presentation with a Sunflower Wordle of lovely words about her, a souvenir slate and a memory book from P7 and of course a little song.

For their Heroes homework project R&R choose their ‘Big Dad’. He was the first Asian and Sikh police officer in Scotland, he has an MBE and carried the Queen’s Baton for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. What an inspiration and hero.

P3 have sold ice lollies to raise money for charity. We had a vote for our favourite charity which was the Schiehallion Appeal (a cancer ward in Glasgow’s children’s hospital). We raised a total of £228.93 . Thank you to everyone who bought an ice lolly for charity, Primary 3.
