@InkViper @fsbossfight The French Revolution is just the backdrop they used cause it’s happening within same time period and can have themes that reflect the cast(rebellion, fighting oppression etc.) You don’t need a basis in the games to understand whats going on, this series is its own thing

No. Design should be consistent to the world the characters exist in and a reflection of the characters personality and outlook. Cosplay should be dependant on the cosplayer's own skill & effort to nail the look.
