Happy that gen Z is so oppressively dogmatic about age gaps because it means older men will only have me pretending to be in my teens when they want their dad/son kick
Anyway imagine a relationship or even just an encounter where the younger person has agency and desire and pursues that desire and it’s a net positive for both parties involved!
So weird that so much knowledge and history and culture has been passed along because of romantic and/or sexual entanglements between two queer people of different generations
It’s just so baffling to watch these people employ such inflexible, intractable standards for something that actually is nuanced and then when we disagree they use the same rhetoric that those that would rather see us dead use!
Know I’m screaming into the ether and also not saying anything someone else hasn’t already said, but it is very weird
And frustrating too especially because I sort of hate that movie and it pains me to feel the need to defend it from these deeply unhelpful moralistic takes!
