I would guess that all those fundamentalist Christians and mega-churchs have a lot to do with this. I never thought Israel or Jews were a big thing in Texas but I may be wrong.

I’ve never been a State employee. Do you have to sign a loyalty oath to the United States as well?

Great question. Other states do this too. I don't think many Americans are aware that their government makes them sign a loyalty pledge to a foreign nation that forbids them from criticizing said nation. In any other country, this would amount to treason.

Think about it: 37 state legislatures were pressured to deliver majorities & pass laws so clearly unConstitutional that a child can see it.
Think how many legislators sold our Constitutional protection to a foreign country.
