Going to be honest, this makes a lot of sense for Cuse. He is from Syracuse. He would be a great guard off the bench. You would have Starling, Westry, Moore, Cuffe and Reaves. Copeland can play the 1-3. Reaves and Copeland both play the 6th man role to perfection 🍊🍊

It is nice to see that we have a bunch of star power on the Hill. McCord, OG, Allen, Diggs, Wax, Deuce, Barron, Clark Then you have guys with serious star potential in McDonald, Grant, Villari, Haynes, Donovan Brown, Jaquez, Dion Wilson, Hastings. Things are looking good🍊🍊

I really feel for Taylor at this point. I don’t think he’s a bad player. Just needs a change of scenery and play at a lower conference where he can kill it. He just can’t compete at this level

I really like this hire for a lot of reasons. Can help Red with X’s and O’s, has head coaching experience, recruiting ties to the DMV area so him and Straughn should have it on lockdown, still young in coach years, obviously he was Leffew’s coach too. Lots to like here 🍊🍊🍊

I fully expect to lose a big name or two. With that being said I anticipate we will have a pretty strong nucleus of retuning players. Then add in Freeman and Moore. Then 2-3 players from the portal. The part I’m watching closest is the quality of player we pursue in the portal

Soooo I’m already concerned about this off season. We didn’t accept an NIT bid to, I’m assuming get ahead of other teams in the portal. Pretty glaring weakness we need a true big man….there are some stud big men in the portal already and we haven’t even reached out??

Respect the hell out of this kid. Came in as a walk on, undersized, gave EVERYTHING he had on the field against top teams and over performed. And by all accounts a great kid. Best of luck to Kevon and he’ll always have a place in Syracuse 🍊🍊

As much shit as we give Taylor and rightfully so at times. Have to build the kid up and nice to see him having a nice game. Couple nice baskets, playing well defensively. Would be huge if he can get going. I don’t care how much we are up by, keep him in and build his confidence

Now onto football. I recently talked to someone who is pretty in the know with the football program. Apparently Zeed Haynes is a baller and we got a STUD, they also talked about how Gill is opening some eyes and having a good camp. They also feel really good about the D-line 🍊🍊

I firmly believe if Cuse wins out and we win one in the ACC tourney we are in. This is doable but have to take it one game at a time. Clemson would be a huge win as they are in the field. If we win out we are a top 5 seed in the ACC tourney which gives us favorable matchups

Non conference schedule for Cuse is Ohio, UConn, UNLV and Holy Cross. Hard to not get ahead of yourself and think that’s 4 wins. We have a soft ACC with no Clemson, FSU, UNC. Hard not to think minimum of 8 wins with the talent we have but so many unknowns with new coaches
