people thinking they r geniuses saying “the muppets should be in knives out and he shouldn’t acknowledge that they are muppets” like fake muppet fan has anybody ever acknowledged that the muppets are muppets. the point of the muppets is that everyone is just like oh hey U guys.

The 2011 movie got a bit weird about it, at one point featuring a song in which the main characters experienced angst about whether they were muppets or humans.

Even when they do acknowledge they're muppets as in Muppet Movie, it's like just their ethnicity.

That's actually a cool idea to have the Muppets in Knives Out. Or a Muppet movie or special that's a murder mystery like Knives Out, but that might be a bit too dark for The Muppets.
