I was a paedobaptist. I spent many hours looking into the arguments. I came out as a credobaptist. My experience is not an argument. What do the scriptures say? What are the patterns contained therein?

I now know of 4 families locally. that over the past year have moved from Dispensational to covenantal view. When speaking with them, they said a faulty hermeneutic and no Law/Gospel distinction caused the change & they now see Christ all throughout the Old Testament, praise God!

I’m hearing a lot of, a pastor isn’t here to do this or give you advice ….What kind of pastor does not counsel or give advice? It’s obvious that some have no idea what pastors are called to do. Yes, they feed the sheep & point them to Christ but they care too.

I consider myself to be a confessional Baptist, (1689). It’s taken me a very long time to work through the confession & come to this conclusion. I have no problem attending an OPC or URC church for many reasons, reasons I will explain in a later post.
