73% of the total member clubs have already voted in favour of the Management Committee proposal.
The season will therefore recommence on 03 April 2021 and the April/May fixtures have been uploaded to the website and e-mails have been sent to all club Fixtures Secretaries.
All teams have either played or results have been awarded for at least 50% of their fixtures.
All of our clubs should be applauded for their cooperation and help in making the EOFL one of the few Leagues to conclude their season in such a manner as to allow teams to be promoted.
Following the passing of the Duke of Edinburgh today the EOFL would like all member Clubs to pay their respect with a minute's silence before matches tomorrow
The EOFL has sent out to all clubs its proposals for the completion of the current season. Clubs have been asked to vote on this proposal by 19 March 2021.
So a little heads up here to players of our member sides. Dan Confrey was playing for EOFL Premier Side Rayleigh Town in March 2019. Skip forward to September 2019 and heβs playing in the Isthmian Trophy for Isthmian North Side Canvey Island. If Dan can do it, so can anyone.
If we are to have any hope of ALL our clubs completing 50% of their fixtures and thus allow promotion and relegation to take place, the EOFL Management Committee have taken the decision to cancel this seasons League Cup competitions.
EOFL Membership Fees 2020/21
We are all aware of the difficulties faced by Clubs in the current situation.
The Management Committee will support the member Clubs by not asking for any annual subscription fees for season 2020-2021.

One year on, let us remember family and friends who are no longer with us cut off by a dreadful virus.
There are more important things in life than football.

The arbitrary decision to ban players from one Tier 3 area playing in another Tier 3 area has caused immense problems for our teams and also other lower leagues teams and Sunday football.
This ban does not apply at level 6 and above or U18 football and should be removed.
Upon tonightβs events, we say this: Racism is never alright! Racism will never be accepted by the EOFL or our member clubs and those who are racist towards any person involved with our clubs will be sought after and we will push for the finest punishment possible.

It has been decided that any team that wishes to postpone their match on 18 December 2021 may do so and will not be charged.

Best of Luck to all our teams as we get ready for the league kick off this Saturday 12th. Looking forward to visiting as many clubs again this coming season.
We have today been advised that the entire Manford Way 1st Team and Management have left the club.
The Premier Division will now run with only 15 Teams and Manford Way Reserves will be re-named Manford Way and remain in Division Two.
It is very disappointing to see that from 31 March to 05 May 2018 inclusive, 23 Saturday matches have been postponed due to clubs failing to fulfil fixtures.
That is no way for positions in a division to be decided and is very frustrating for other teams within their division.
Further to the "guidance" given by the FA and ECFA and in line with decisions made by other leagues whose teams play within our county, the Essex Olympian League Management Committee has decided to postpone all fixtures until 03 April 2020.
See website for further details
