The presidential #election will decide if #Slovakia truly stays in western club or joins Hungary or Belarus. The fear is that Pellegrini will act hand in hand with Fico’s direction of #foreignpolicy , which could have a devastating effect on Slovakia.

Today I met w/ @dreynders in #Brussels . I informed the EU Commissioner that #Slovakia 's rule of law is under threat. PM Robert Fico-led government plans to abolish, or effectively abolish, the Special Prosecutor's Office as well as the Specialized Criminal Court.
