Delighted to share that we have been categorised as a YELLOW school 🏫 this year- more great news following our strong feedback from Estyn in July! Da iawn to our fantastic staff, students, parents and governors. ✅ 🌟 👏🏻
After hearing a cry for help from our local care homes, our D&T dept have been busy working hard trying to create safety masks & door openers/ button pushers. We think we have cracked it! If any organisation is in desperate need for any of these, please get in touch!

Well today saw the day we said goodbye to our Year 11. Although, a very unusual leaver's day, our community came together to give them the best send off, and although many tears were shed I can honestly say it was one of the best assemblies I have ever attended.

This morning Year 7 got into true Welsh spirit by singing the National Anthem and Yma o Hyd cheering on Wales ahead of their game against Iran. Pupils and staff belted out both anthems with pride and passion and we certainly billed ourselves as the 'Land of Song' this morning.
Both phases of Ebbw Fawr will be closed Monday 19 March due to heavy snow ⛄️❄️ and on recommendation from BGCBC. We will keep you informed tomorrow about Tuesday

So important that our young people of today remember those that have fallen and thanking those that have served. Thank you to all our learners for giving one brief moment of your life, to remember why we must work for peace every day of the year.
