Lows are not valid when there's no UP candle closing above the DOWN candle that makes the low (Example on Screenshot) The low then it's not valid and you usually see a continuation in the trend with the next candles taking that low 3/N

Highs are validated when an DOWN candle closes below the UP candle that makes the High (Example on Screenshot) The High then gets validated and you usually see a pullback with the next candle before moving down and leaving that UP candle. 2/N
