@driverbod125 also didnt stop for the doors, it continued across the doors but modern safety and disabillity rules mean the doors must be a solid colour and a different colour to the body of the train

@driverbod125 When rail blue was first introduced it was drab, almost matt finish. Look at early pictures of 4TC sets for example. Modern paint is very different thankfully

@driverbod125 Would be nice if @Scotrail painted one of their 318 units in the old Strathclyde Orange and Black livery. Or even the red carmine and cream again! Would be nice to see it again

@driverbod125 Last time I saw it there was a large contribution from "brake dust brown". Probably a 4 EPB around '91 or so.
