On a serious note tho, the artists who made these kinds of paintings were paid a ton of money, were fed and given housing. They were given years to work on this stuff too
When Banksy made a random vendor sell his originals for $60 on the street and no one bought it. It taught me everything I needed to know about the art market

Yeaaa they made that movie ridiculously dark. But I feel like in that case it adds to the movie, but films like Antman I’m not sure why they’d need to make scenes so dark
I’m gonna post a list of art galleries that are accepting submissions (free) for emerging artists. I did research on them to make sure they’re legit so you all could apply :))

I feel like y’all don’t realize how good you are as artists. Many of you are 18-30 making some of the best art I’ve ever seen. This isn’t even an understatement, I literally read books about art EVERYDAY, yet some of y’all exceed that

The point of this thread isn't to discourage anyone it's just to let you know that "it takes a village." Don't do things on your own, don't solely rely on these "Artists drop your links" threads. Make connections with people who want to help take you to the next level
