Who played this? King's Quest 3 is when I fell in love with games.

Haha I admit I was counting pixels. I don’t think I had the follow through to match everything 100% but most of it should be exactly like the original.

KQ1 for sure also. I played that on a B&W (black&green actually) monitor so it didn't quite grab me the same way.

Roberta Williams was a visionary and while I'm happy she was able to retire early from this stuff, I'd kill to see what stories she'd put together today.

Yes, *loved* KQ3. It was truly magical.
Still have fond memories figuring out how to escape from Manannan (remember the cat cookie?!), getting down the mountain and exploring the forest, medusa, the 3 bears, pirates...

Oh wow. Playing this again in voxel would be something. My first taste in the late 80s was Space Quest 2 and then after that was King's Quest 3 funny enough.

This is the second bit of KQ3 nostalgia that’s shown up in my feed lately. I spent months playing this game, hunting down every last point. I miss all those old parser games.

oh yes! I cleaned out that chamber pot and kicked the cat so many times. Of course, I was playing on a monochrome monitor, so it was a challenge figuring out what the grey blobs were, but it was so magical!
