8/9/1888 saw the first ever football league matches anywhere in the world. Our gameyat Bolton was the first of those to kickoff at 3:45pm. Derby won the toss and so took the very first kick in league football globally!!

After many years of research by a number of people, this is the closest you will get to seeing the original kits, as worn by the club when they played at The Racecourse. The only original in existence is the red/white one, others made from photos and contemporary descriptions.
