Gutted to be having to write this but I have decided not to continue with my teacher training this year. A lot has happened in this past week that’s taken a toll on my well-being and I no longer feel I can continue, without compromising my own health.

5 months after ditching my teacher training, I’m finally celebrating a job offer 🎉 Soon to be a Risk Engineer. Women in STEM 💪🏼… anddddd, my boyfriend also accepted a job down here this week and will be moving in next month 😍 buzzing doesn’t even cut it 🤪

Dropped my school laptop & lanyard back to school this morning. Needed cheering up so went to B&M with my mum (Christmas stuff instantly boosts my mood 😂). Then tried to find somewhere to eat but nowhere had any tables so went & got fish and chips instead. Missed our Fridays 🥹

The elderly neighbour’s brother bought me flowers to say thank you for all the times I’ve helped her since she moved in. I don’t expect anything in return for helping anyone, but it’s nice that it’s appreciated 🥹

Hate these posters. Remember how bad they made me feel as a 14/15/16 year old who was too ill to attend school. Think I attended maybe 2 days during the whole of year 11… I’m now 19 with a first-class honours degree… ‘lowest chance of success’ 👀

Posters like this can increase the worries and anxieties of those who struggle to attend school due to #EBSA and other #MentalHealth issues. They can’t just happen on the “175 non-school days”. It’s not a matter of won’t, but can’t attend. A change of perspective is needed.

When Kieran cooks on a Saturday night, I get steak, stuffed chicken, things like that. When I cook on a Saturday night, he gets the most childish dinner labelled as a ‘snack board’… even heard him proudly announce to my dad that “she did it all herself!” 😂😂😂😂😂

Told someone I was looking at booking a spa break and they replied “have you got a new man?”. Sorry, do I need a man to go on a spa break? 🥴 3 nights in a hotel room on my own eating chocolate covered strawberries in a fluffy robe sounds like the absolute dream to me 😍

My brother normally gets me a Starbucks if I pick him up for the gym (it’s about a 30 min walk). I didn’t pick him up because I’m too spaced out to drive still but he’s just walked home and come upstairs to me with this going “you need to drink” 🥹

Has anyone been diagnosed with ADHD as an adult? Had my last session with a therapist a couple months ago & she wrote to my GP suggesting an assessment but told me I’d need to get in touch with them to get the ball rolling. Me being me,I’m still putting it off😂 Is it worth it?

One of my neighbours the other day was like “you’re always going out to eat in nice restaurants”… so I took pics to show that sometimes our Saturday night is a £12 Tesco Finest meal deal with added halloumi to make it a ‘three course dinner’ 😂
