Loris Karius is 24 years of age, what he needs tonight is someone to put their arm around his shoulder and give him a few words of support not people tagging him in abusive tweets.

U2 are the band the world thinks represents the Northside of Dublin.
Aslan were the band that many Northsiders who lived through Dublin of the 80s might say truly represented them more.
Sleep well Christy.

Thank you
@taylorswift13
for a night of pure unadulterated joy for my six year old. Emily’s first ever concert is one she won’t forget. She said on the bus home, “Dad it was all women doing the singing and dancing, the men only did the boring stuff”

I know it’s not the fashionable thing to bring up but changing facilities for fathers with kids are a joke in Ireland. Already this morning my young lad had to be changed on the floor of a gents because facilities were all in the ladies toilets
I'm really close to shutting down my Twitter account today.
A cesspool full of too many Jordan Peterson wannabes who'd do well to remember a family and community in mourning before spouting some of the shite circulating today.
It's not a day for an ill-informed gender debate
In a world where these statues rarely resemble the person they are actually meant to be honouring, it’s fair to say the people responsible for the new statue of Jack Charlton in his home town of Ashington have nailed it.

are one side of the barricade, then it’s a side I’d be proud to be on.
Mildly horrified at some making a joke of the Marler/Alun Wyn incident.
If you did it in a workplace you would most likely & rightly be sacked. Do it in public you would most likely & rightly face punishment.
Do it on the field of play and some see it as a bit of craic
On behalf of the nation I am demanding an official retraction and correction from

NAILED a dinner in the slow cooker, currently sitting in the sitting room repeatedly asking the family how much they enjoyed it and canvassing repeated opinion on how well it turned out.
Hard to fully explain to people who didn’t live through it, the impact that he and on football and in turn the collective mindset in Ireland when he was manager . A true legend.

My wife and I have reached a landmark day in our parenting journey. Our eldest has just made her first ever cup of tea and coffee and delivered them to us with great pride.

How do you go from having a newborn to an 8 year old in the blink of an eye?
I cannot see a justifiable reason not to allow the teams wear the Dillon Quirke shirts today. You’d nearly have loved to have seen them defy the instruction and do it anyway.
The only benefit is that the Foundation has got loads of coverage out of a badly judged edict
Big day, Child Number 1 crowned u7 Leinster Champion for her Irish dancing. This will undoubtedly lead to Daddy getting hit in the pocket over the weekend.
It’s remarkable how, despite knowing you shouldn’t let it get to you, one anonymous troll with toxic and targeted negativity can have more impact on ya that a multitude of positivity.

Sometimes you can be having a real crap day, feeling hard done by and then you hear a bit of messing and turn around to be greeted by this and you remember that there’s always a spot of unadulterated goodness in the world.
We are going to massively regret this move as a society. Have we not learnt from both the UK & US the social impact of the dilution of history in education. I’ll be pushing my two to embrace history
