You'd be forgiven for thinking they had bigger fish to fry right now, but we've woken up to a number of donations from
@RamsTrust
and fans of
@dcfcofficial
taking us past £17k for online donations. Thank you so much

Looking forward to this weekend's trip to
@Official_STFC
. Their fans were both supportive and very helpful this Summer as we stood firm against those who wished to take advantage of our club.

Trust to buy 50,000 shares in the Club
The Trust are delighted to announce a deal has been struck for the purchase of a further 50,000 shares in the Football Club.
The deal has been agreed for one reason – to safeguard the future of the Football Club. …
We are looking forward to welcoming
@Official_STFC
and
@TrustSTFC
to Spotland on Sat. Their fans were fantastic towards us last Summer as we both stood firm for the good of our clubs. Our battles still continue, as we face ongoing legal action from Morton House.
We look forward to welcoming
@shrimperstrust
members and their fellow
@SUFCRootsHall
supporters to the Crown Oil Arena today, and we wish them well in their battles against owner Ron Martin. It's a horrific situation for them and one that I'm sure all Dale fans support them.
The total from Saturday's collections is now £595.16 thanks to the £115 collected by Moggy. Aside from that, we also received a donation of a small bag of cocaine which we assume was donated unintentionally. To quote tesco, every little helps but not in this case unfortunately.
Trust Statement: Legal Action Over!
We were delighted to find out on Friday evening that our legal battle with Morton House has finally finished. The shares are back in the hands of the Club and there will be no High Court action facing the Trust and th…
Trust Statement: Andy Curran and Darrell Rose
Supporters will be aware of developments over the past week regarding a possible takeover of the Football Club. We, as a Trust, do not believe this prospective takeover is in the best interest of the Club.

Leyton Orient - for years our biggest bogey team, the 8-0 hammering, Keith Hill sent off after 17 seconds, Steve Castle scoring four goals at Spotland. Aargh! And today the wonderful people at
@LOFansTrust
have made a fantastic donation to our legal defence. Thank you so much
Fantastic night down at Spotland tonight. Eight minutes from start to finish and it's another step closer to where we need to be. Big thanks for all the proxies donated but it was a landslide on the night
On behalf of all of the walkers, can we publicly say thank you to Mark Turner at
@ASFCofficial
. With no game on and everyone else gone home, he kept the club open, welcoming us with towels and drinks and letting us inside the ground for pics. Top man, top club
@AndyhHolt
Later this month, we will be walking from the Crown Oil Arena to Boundary Park ahead of the Oldham v Rochdale game. This will be the fourth time we have undertaken such a walk.
All funds raised for legal action!
You did it. Every single penny that was needed to successfully fight the legal challenge against Morton House has now been raised!
A grand total of £62,886.58 has been raised which has paid for all the legal services …
Everyone knew Moggy.
A character, larger than life, however you wanted to describe him, they don’t make them like Moggy anymore. 100% Dale through and through, and we’ve spent most of our lives giving him an R, and then an O…
We have received a letter from Matthew Southall on behalf of Morton House this afternoon. As you'd expect, we have passed this on to our legal team and we are not planning on making any comment at this moment in time.
We had a young supporter come to the Trust desk before the game and gave us a £2 donation from his pocket money. Thank you very much. Gotta love the next generation
Thoughts this morning are with our friends at
#oafc
including
@PTB_OAFC
and
@_OASF
following yesterday's results. Horrible as it is, relegation to the National League is merely a battle, but the war is against the owners who are responsible for where they are.
Can't deny it, that was a little bit emotional watching
@ianhenderson___
become our club's greatest ever this evening. What a career, what a player. History made before our very eyes.
We are delighted to announce that for the first time in our history, we have passed 1000 members. If you're not one of the 1000 yet, there's still time to do so for just £5
Fully support PTB and their efforts against their Chairman. Their efforts are not about 3pts but the whole future of the club - something we've been subjected to far too recently. We've lost one rival, we don't want to lose another.
#oafc
Ahead of the game on Saturday, we wanted to communicate with all supporters.
It is a huge 3 points at stake and it represents another opportunity to voice our concerns about the future of our club. We can’t wait to stand with you defiantly

Cloughie legacy boosts Trust shareholding
The Trust are delighted to announce that they are the recipients of a fantastic gesture from the David Clough legacy that has seen 72,5000 shares purchased in the Football Club and donated to the Trust.
We've been inundated with new memberships in the last few days. Our poor membership secretary has a lot of new memberships to process (which is a good thing) but the cards might take a touch longer than usual to go out. Thanks for your patience
Apparently we've been quoted in an online Sun article re the parking. The quote has been lifted from our website and there has been no conversation between them and us. Had they contacted us there would still have been no conversation between them and us.
We've had some amazing contributions from other members of the football family, notably
@CAStrust
and
@RamsTrust
who've contributed far more than anyone could have wished. We were blown over today by a fantasatic donation today from
@AST_arsenal
. Thank you all very much!
Trust contact EFL over comments
The Trust have contacted the EFL over homophobic, offensive and aggressive comments that were reportedly made towards the Club during an EFL meeting last week.
The following email has been sent to the EFL this morning:

The first PoF ‘Live’ is taking place at Plough Lane Wimbledon on 24 March. Bar will be open, tickets only £10 each. Any profits will go to the Rochdale AFC defence to keep Dale a fan owned club.
We have contacted the
@efl
this morning with 50 questions that we believe need to be answered by the
@EFL
before any decision can be made over the suitability of those involved in the hostile takeover
Great stuff from the gaffer and Nick Chadwick coming down to the trust desk to get their memberships sorted before putting the team sheets in 👏🏻👏🏻
Arguably the more important job of the two 😂
Total raised through fundraising has today passed £25,000. We've got £19,491 through the online Crowdjustice website and other donations have totalled £5,894 giving us a running total of £25,385.
Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.
Thanks for all the support we've received this evening following our statement. We've had a large number of new signs ups this evening who won't have received the newsletter and voting link. We will send a fresh copy of it out in the morning to those who have signed up tonight

The worrying thing is it shows no evidence of consulting with Fans, the Club or Trust, which leads to obvious conclusions. Please contact us at info

Unbelievably we are getting really close to £10,000 in just over ten hours since it's launch. Who's going to be the one to take us over that threshold?

The Trust have contacted the EFL over homophobic, offensive and aggressive comments that were reportedly made towards the Club during an EFL meeting last week.
As horrible as it is travelling 250 miles to find out the game is off thirty minutes before kick off, the key thing is it's our club and that's always going to be the case - owned by the fans and run for the fans.
#upthedalenotforsale
We've done a few retweets with respect to the goings on at Oldham, but if you have a spare sixty seconds, please sign this petition. This goes beyond club rivalries, with the only difference between them and us is a couple of digits in a postcode. Please sign!
#freetheoldhamthree
A disappointing and flawed article.
@sistoney67
who have you actually consulted for this? If you'd have reached out to us at any stage, we'd have gladly talked you through everything that has gone on.
Andrew Curran has been suspended immediately from all football and football related activity for 63 days up to and including Wednesday 14 March 2022, and ordered to complete a mandatory education course following a breach of FA Rule E3.
Full statement:
How can you read that without a stupid grin all over your face. Ethan is everything that this club stands for - a platform for talented youngsters to make their breakthrough in the game. And all the better if they are Rochdale born and bred and have watched Dale all their life
"All my life I've dreamt of playing for Rochdale, so to start the last couple of games was great." 💙

Later this month, we will be walking from the Crown Oil Arena to Boundary Park ahead of the Oldham v Rochdale game. This will be the fourth time we have undertaken such a walk.
Update: Supporters will be aware of speculation over the weekend regarding the purchase of shares. We have contacted that individual over the weekend, and have continued communication today. We will provide a further update on this as soon as we can.
Had a very amicable meeting with
@sistoney67
this evening where we've put our views across on the events of recent months and the ownership model of Rochdale AFC. We look forward to seeing him at Spotland for a game soon
We assume that you've seen the Club statement. If not, the link is below. At this moment, we aren't making any comment other than referring to what we wrote in the January newsletter. This isn't news to us, and we see it for exactly what it is.

Our current fundraising total is £29,680.94 which is £22,381.00 from Crowdjustice and £7299.94 from other donations. Let's keep those totals rising to send a message to those who stand against us.
Really pleased for everyone associated with

. Must have thought they'd never see this day. New owners aren't always the fairy godmothers you hope they are, but this fella clearly has the best interests of the Club and the Town at heart.
What more can we say, but thank you. We dreamed of this day for so long.
This is for ALL

supporters. Your hard work, support and efforts have made this all possible.
To the new owner, we say good luck and thank you for giving us our club back.
THIS is how it feels!

We know one or two people have suggested we have flown a plane over AFC Fylde today. Nothing to do with us I'm afraid and we wouldn't put any Trust funds towards anything like this. All the cash collected for the Legal Defence is exclusively for that.
And they donated generously. Our buckets from around the ground (including the away end) brought in a fantastic £590.64. We've got one more bucket to make its way North so that figure will rise in the next few day. Thanks everyone.
