Wedding rings are pagan. If I see someone wearing a wedding ring I will ask the wearer where they are commanded by the Lord in scripture to be worn. You are worshipping demons and donโt even know it

calling you a sissy effeminate lib and telling you to be a man you must cut your hair. thanks matt you were right.
Can anyone (Reformed)tell me how incense isnโt a part of the regulative principle and why we donโt use it? When itโs one of the most biblically used items in old and New Testament worship.
I still dont understand the anglo-cath accent. No where in america do we speak like that, but for some reason these priests train themselves to speak in a weird voice.
I really wish it wasnโt April 1st. But I was received into the (Ukrainian) Catholic Church at the Divine Liturgy for Easter Sunday (Pascha) please pray for me a sinner! โฆ๏ธ๐ป๐ฆ
Ever since I became Anglican, one question remains.. what's up with the banners that look like they were made by kindergartners in 1979? they are everywhere.
Word and Sacrament.
Spirit and Truth.
All you need.
Not chasubles, not looking like pictures of Cranmer in the year 2024, not iconography.
Word and Sacrament.
Spirit and Truth.
Joseph, I never weary of contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Hold Him close in my name and kiss His fine head from me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath.
Hereโs how much most Protestants who claim to believe in the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist actually believe in the real presence:
They throw the leftovers in the trash on their way out of the building.
The worst thing that ever happened. My faith was not shaken by the pandemic, it was by leaders in the church who seemed to fear mortality. In opposition to the faith I held so fiercely. God bless all who opened up asap realizing the damage it did
Today our pastor unashamedly proclaimed Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father and to salvation. I know that's what he believes, but to hear it proclaimed in front of 130 people feels so good.
Anglican liturgy has everything I begged for as a hardcore Reformed Presbyterian. Psalms, creeds, scripture, scripture, scripture. AND we get beauty, sacrament, charity. Wow.
@theodoresomes
I do but then I think about Mary. And how she used to kiss the little fingers and feet and then had to helplessly look on as they were pierced years later
Christianity falls apart when inerrancy isnโt held. If the Bible isnโt inerrant there isnโt certainty of anything regarding Jesusโ works, sacrifice, and atonement. Thatโs where we get all of that
It appears that a lot of people are just now discovering that denial of scriptural inerrancy is fairly common among the masses within the EOC.
God bless the outraged converts.
Their seminaries are just as affected by liberalism as those of Protestants or Roman Catholics.
@pope_head
Iโm going to say I agree in a way. I donโt know if autism is the word but 90% of 18-20 year olds that come into my work (Iโm a trainer) have a malaise, zero body awareness, zero ability to problem solve on the fly or follow instructions the exceptions are high school athletes
@Nektarios01_
Thatโs not in the Bible nor can it be traced back to historical documents of the time to corroborate the evidence. You run a risk of falsifying events of Christs life which wouldnโt be smart!
I am so happy that my justification relies wholly on faith in Christ and His atoning work and NOTHING else. If I could fail, I would. So I cling to JESUS CHRIST and what Heโs done ALONE, and better yet, he gave me that faith! Itโs all HIM! what good news!
When Jesus was a baby, His divine nature underwent no change or limitation. The divine nature remained omnipresent and continued to sustain the universe. while Jesus fully entered into the human experience, His divinity was not confined to His human limitations
I love serving in church, and so ecstatic to be somewhere that wants to help me, help. This past Sunday I was able to serve as a licensed Eucharistic Minister for the first time. Seethe trads.
Merry Christmas! We were Presbyterians in the morning at the lovely St. Pauls. and Anglicans in the evening at Incarnation Episcopal since that was the only service of the day.
every time I write a research paper, I love God more. They are the biggest surprise of my Seminary career. I was raised with zero guidance and no support to do well in school, and doing research papers scared me going into seminary. Yet, they are the biggest blessing to me. funny
I am officially moving across country on Monday. I am also currently unaffiliated with a church I plan to visit a PCA and ACNA by new home and pray over where we land. It would be impossible for me to be an Episcopalian up there. They are big time pride shield types
Worship session on the final day of the UMC's General Conference ends with the O'Jays' "Love Train" and a blessing from Tracy S. Malone, the newly-installed president of the denomination's Council Of Bishops
These crowd shots...
Episcopalian Governance isn't just the right way because that's how the earliest church did it. Its the right way because its the best structure to address abuse, care of pastors, finances, and legal issues that may come up. It's almost like God wanted it to be that way.
When a same-sex attracted or transgender person argues with you that "God made me this way" or asks, "Why would God make me this way?" when talking to you, realize they likely got their theology from Lady Gaga and not from the Bible.
I believe in original sin, but I have a REALLY hard time staying consistent when it comes to babies. The whole โviper in a diaper thingโ is cringe.
