‘Red light’ cameras on way to catch and fine motorists who break traffic lights, Eamon Ryan says

Motorists who ignore traffic lights will be caught and automatically fined when new ‘red light cameras’ are introduced later this year.

Why didn’t @EamonRyan advocate for a smarter traffic light system that companies like @NoTraffic_ provide? Instead he decides to put cameras in traffic lights to fine people for breaking red lights and bag some extra tax 💰

@codohertynews I’d recommend they install one at the Ranelagh/Chelmsford Road junction. That will yield hundreds of fines, a day!
