@codohertynews Funny this. I proposed research to isotopically map water resources nationally a few months ago. The result would be a living tool to manage water supply sustainably in Ireland. Got rejected. Obviously not important.

@codohertynews Modern plumbing is already low consumption by default, presumably because of regulations elsewhere in the world. Existing housing stock could do with looking at. Aerating taps and reduced volume toilet flush would be a start. That was all abandoned after the water protests.
