If you have Amazon Prime and you are a Basketball Coach, I strongly suggest you look at The Gray Season about the University of St. Louis women’s basketball program under Coach Gray. It truly a class on the up and downs of coaching. Please!

I have never gotten a Head Coach position through an application process. Everyone I have had came from, relationship building. I filled out the application after I got the position. Be kind, respectful, be energetic and most of all be hungry. Set your own foundation.

We earned our first win of the season and continued our 11 home games winning streak. With a Lutheran Westland home win 66 to 55 in overtime. Christian Fountain finished with school third highest score in school history with 37 points . Guard Nate Rooker had 17pt we are now 1-2 .

A drill that we play is 3 on 3, sometimes 4 on 4. I assign 1 player on each team to score. We play to no more than 4 point.The rest of team must move, pass,and cut, use screening action to get the scorer open.Make up different rules, Example score off screen.

As a coaching staff you should get together and rank your players now top 5 players, top two blob passer, top 3 3pt shooter. Top free throws shoter, A week before the season starts have your staff, rate again. Have the team do the same thing, and see it it matches up.
