I've been coaching HS baseball in Nova for 37 years and im not sure I've ever seen this....Senior 1B/ RHP Bryce Eldridge (Gatorade POY in Va.) has been walked 16 times in his last 20 abs. In those 4 abs, he's 3 for 4 with 2 HR and a double off the wall. That's it.....

Senior day at Lynchburg. Loved being there to walk with Josh (although will play ball next year). The Hornets won two over Guilford and Josh had another solid day, both defensively and at the plate....3-3 double, walk and 2 RBI in game 2. Hornets are the 1 seed in the ODAC.

Bryce was also named MVP for the week for the D1 bracket. Opening night against Marshall HS was 95/96 with 40 strikes in 53 pitches. Don't be surprised if this young man doesn't flirt with triple digits before June. Not saying he needs it, but it won't surprise me. Effortless!!

James Madison HS RHP/1B Bryce Eldridge (6-7, 228lb) is having some kind of week. Kid has 4 homers since Monday (including a grand slam on Wednesday) and was up to 93 on the mound too. One of the more premium prospects in the 2023 Draft. A legit two-way talent.
