I got some clarification: she was pretty sure I knew about energy, but didn’t want me to feel bad if the questions were too hard.

Hah! I had a similar moment for a young cousin of mine, still in high school, who called me up and said "Hi sorry I haven't called in awhile. How r u? By the way not sure if you can help me, but do you know anything about the environmental impacts of oilsands?" LOL. Honey, do I.
