@stoicsquirrel78 This is a HUGE reason why I advocate so hard for keeping cats indoors. There's a local pet group that also shares when dead pets are found in the road so that maybe someone looking for them can get closure (not pics, just descriptions and locations) and SO many are cats.

@BillyArmagh @cinniharpy The number of people in my neighborhood that post lost cat posts on our neighborhood group and the number who post coyote sightings is almost equal. Yet if I mention the correlation, I get called out for being “inhumane”. Keep your cats indoors.

@cinniharpy I worked for the Public Works Department in a small town at one point, and we’d get calls from people looking for lost pets. Most realized why they’d been referred to us, but I freaked this one lady out by telling her I’d take the description and pass it to the Sanitation Dept.
