for cal pre-health/pre-meds, there’s life after lower divs, after failure— pls, if you’re passionate continue. it’s not an easy but it gets better, upper divs are better; trust me. don’t let these dusty courses make you feel like you don’t belong. we need your minds in medicine.

chem 1a is the devil. you don’t know the amount of people who were pre-med who decided not to pursue it bc this course crushed their spirit, & for low-income, minority and/or first-gen pre-health/med students it is first marker of imposter syndrome.

the fact that many of my friends, who are RAs, now either have COVID, mental strain, or have gone FAR as having to QUIT this job for their SAFETY and SANITY, is beyond me. now finding NEW housing in a pandemic, insecurity in a PANDEMIC. SEND THOSE KIDS HOME, ASAP.

If you are a Cal student in Berkeley both on & off-campus there’s now capacity at Tang or via Innovative Genomics Institute to get you tested. All you need is you SID number or Cal ID. Tang Durant Side is the quickest place for testing right now.

This horrific...some students still frequent campus for reliable internet. Lots of students frequent campus for socially-distanced picnics or to relax with friends. I and many others literally rely on this to run/walk, since all gyms are closed; this is how we exercise...

How I feel when PRIVILEGED women talk about being marginalized bc they’re women in STEM... IMAGINE being a BLACK woman in STEM where you make up less than 1%. They wouldn’t even last one day. Intersectionality and resiliency is key in DIVERSITY. Sally, imagine how tired WE ARE!🙄
