It is absolutely mental that Nicola Bulley’s fella does an interview and I’ve seen hundreds of takes today already that’s he’s murdered her. Fuck me, is there any depth that Twitter won’t sink to 😳 #NicolaBulley

@centristjim1 And if hit turns out he has are you going to apologise? I am sure if he is innocent he has no time to scroll through twitter to see whats been said and wouldn't care as his kids have no mother currently and they are priority!

@danielsy23 There is such a thing as decency. It doesn’t exist on twitter obviously but would you walk up to a man who probably knows he’s never going to see his partner again and accuse him of being a murderer to his face because he didn’t look as emotional as you’d like in a tv interview?

@centristjim1 Shambles. Damned if he does an interview and damned if he doesn't.

@centristjim1 Quite often you’ve seen a family member at a police appeal in tears asking for information about a loved one that’s disappeared and later find out they were responsible. It’s a strange one I suspect she’s fallen in the river sadly but wonder why her phone was on riverbank.

@timbo_matic Yup. There’s no “right” body language for when someone shoves a camera in your face

@centristjim1 And before he did the interview, there were loads of comments that he must be guilty as he hadn’t done an interview. The police have really missed a trick - all these armchair sleuths are surely invaluable to their investigations.

@centristjim1 I've seen dozens of comments micro-analysing his use of the word 'dream' as if it's proof of guilt, or falsely accusing him of smiling and laughing throughout the interview. Some people really need to think before they tweet.

@centristjim1 All avenues are explored in a case of this nature. He would be aware of her daily routine movements but that doesn't mean he has anything to do with her disappearance

@centristjim1 OK, detective, please join the police force and become a DCI with immediate effect. Seems like you've solved the case just of the way he looked in an interview

@centristjim1 Remember Christopher Jefferies, Bristol landlord, arrested on suspicion of murdering Joanna Yeates? He had nothing to do with it, but the press vilified him for looking and acting 'strange'

@alexthepage I wouldn’t show any emotion either, he’s doing a tv interview. He’s probably in shock. You want him to bawl his eyes out? Would that make it more convincing? Or, just like a lot of Twitter these days, it doesn’t matter what he does because you just love a conspiracy?

@centristjim1 The poor bloke could have been at work miles away, but rather than credit the police with doing their job, Twitter would prefer to throw around unsubstantiated accusations.
