Fear God? Nah. I fear a world where religious people strip the majority of their basic human rights, bodily autonomy, freedom, and privacy in an attempt to force the rules of one (of thousands) religion into secular spaces. We should ALL fear that.

Biden didn't just abandon us to Covid. It's far worse than that. He removed all of the tools we need to assess our actual risk and reduce spreading illness. Data reporting, testing sites, free tests, expanded health coverage, isolation time. This was calculated. Deliberate.

I no longer believe anything will get better. I have lost all hope. The best I think I can do is try to compartmentalize little moments of non-misery as the world burns. Moments that aren't punctuated by suffering, despair, greed, fear, or loss. And cling to them for life.

One day the kids are going to grow up and realize what was allowed to happen to them for the sake of capitalism, and they're going to burn the whole system to the ground. I'll be there with the proverbial matches. #COVID19

A stuent got roses today and after I smelled the bouquet and proclaimed how amazing the roses smell, 5 kiddos then smelled the bouquet and couldn't smell anything. They were amazed that I could smell the bouquet with a mask on. A whole generation who can't smell anythingπŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

We are home. They got it all! They did chemo too. He's doing well. Now we begin quarantine, as several providers we encountered while he had to be unmasked were obviously sick with respiratory issues. Desperately hoping it was not Covid. More words tmrw. Bedtime. 😴

(1/2) Both of my infections were mild. Same for my son. Omicron was all sinuses for me. O2 was normal throughout. #LongCovid hit at 8-12 wks w/both rounds. It took 18 mos. to even resemble normal. I'm left with permanent damage to my nervous system. Son has heart & lung damage.

If we had dealt with Covid and not politicized a pandemic then normalized being endlessly sick, we might be prepared to handle the measles outbreak. But here we are instead.

When you're pushing the "Covid is over" narrative so hard that you expose yourself and your wife to the worst possible #COVID19 exposure scenario outside of shaking hands with every sick person in an ER. #Biden

President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden were at a Washington DC school shaking hands and meeting with both teachers and students. Isn’t that the coolest thing for these kids? What would you do if the Biden’s showed up at your kids’ school? How would you hope they…

For the first 2.5 years of the pandemic I was convinced that there would be a turning point, a collective realization that a different path was necessary and undeniable. Now I just watch in horror as we throw away literal life, the slow-motion suicide for the sake of capitalism.

Anyone else just completely burnt out from years of survival mode and little to no joy or fulfillment and the utter absence of hope? I realized two years ago I was not okay and things are about 350% worse now. How am I functioning? Poorly. The answer is poorly. #COVID19

There are going to be a lot of angry young adults in a few years who realize they have chronic conditions that were largely avoidable...but the adults in charge chose #capitalism over the quality of their lives. #LongCovidKids #COVID19

Biden to us: The pandemic is over No more free testing, PPE, or health coverage No more reporting on #Covid Risk denial No mention of LC Biden for himself: Strict Covid protocols Testing for all who meet w/him Clean air Multi-layered risk reduction #FJB

More Americans died of #COVID yesterday than died on 9/11. Telling folks they can safely gather w/ loved ones right now is like knowing 9/11 was going to happen over and over again and telling people it was safe to be in those buildings and planes. It's inexcusable, unforgivable.

I find myself becoming very hardened. I'm no longer viewing other people as beings like me, but threats to my safety and survival. I've tried to maintain my humanity and hope, but this keeps getting more disturbing and I can't fathom how we come back from it. #CovidIsntOver

My children's high school just called (yes, at almost 10pm) to let us know there are too many teachers out sick to have in-person classes tomorrow. This is all working so well. πŸ™„ #COVID #COVID19 #NewVariant #CovidIsNotOver #school #teachertwitter

My 17 yr-old had #COVID19 in November. He is now having symptomatic, dangerously high blood pressure spikes with stress or exercise. His BP used to run low. He is healthy, fit, active. Scheduled cardio consult. Looking for some recovery stories because I'm so stressed.

Look, I get it. You don't understand the basics on viruses or airborne transmission. You don't have personal experience w/ #LongCovid either. But I do, which is why I take the precautions. Your ignorance doesn't mean I'm overreacting. #COVID19 #COVIDisAirborne #CovidIsNotOver

If you're posting about the tragic loss of lives on September 11, 2001 while taking no measures to reduce the spread & impact of #COVID which is taking that many lives weekly in the US, please save your performative reverence. It's not lost lives you care about. #September11th

A moment I will never forget as long as I live. On the way in to see the surgeon, I asked my husband, "Are you going to ask them to mask?" He told me he didn't want the request to compromise the visit. Cancer patients SHOULDN'T HAVE TO ASK TO BE PROTECTED FROM #SARSCoV2

#COVID BRAIN Not picking on anyone but it's getting more than a little unsettling how folks are unable to perform the most basic tasks. And driving? I used to enjoy driving but it has become terrifying. No one signals, most folks seem ANGRY, people weave and swerve. 1/4
