2022 - 2023 Reel
Well it’s summer so it’s time for my yearly reel. This year I’ve focused so much on improving my color I wanted to just focus on shots. No color no audio. Just my favorite shots from the past 12 months
Just some personal news:
Today starts my last full week working at Auburn. It’s been a dream come true to work at my Alma Mater and I’m certainly gonna miss this place. It’s going to be a very bitter sweet goodbye.
Here’s to the next adventure.
Life update! 🎥 🎞
So excited to be joining the team at
@ClemsonTigers
and
@ClemsonFB
as an Associate Director of Creative Solutions. Super blessed and honored. Excited to get to work and make something awesome
Sentimental post time:
I grew up coming to this stadium. For my childhood this was the happiest place on earth. I never would have ever dreamed I’d be where I am. Tomorrow marks my first game as THE Auburn Football videographer. I don’t know how I got this lucky.
3 months not working in sports anymore and I have 3 thoughts.
- work is no longer the most important thing I do
- working normal hours is worth the “fun” sacrifice
- sports did give me a lot of confidence in trusting myself which I’m thankful for
Best decision I’ve made
Not that crazy of an announcement butttttttttt excited to say my interim tag has officially been removed and today marks Day 1 with football creative video in an official capacity.
Even came with an office upgrade.
LETS GET ITTTTT

In bitter sweet news. Today starts my final week working at Clemson. Even more today starts my final week working in college athletics.
It’s been a crazy ride and I will miss athletics. But I am very excited now I’m going to get more time to be a dad which is pretty awesome
2021 - 2022 Cine Reel
No action shots. No fancy transitions or effects. Just me on a timeline and my favorite shots from this past crazy year of change in my life.
After 35 days without being on the sideline. It was very nice to get back behind the camera.
Decided to test myself and shot on whole new lens for this game. Very happy with the results
Tomorrow starts day 1 back home in the place I love the most at Auburn.
This time not in athletics. Still get to be creative and very excited to have more time to be able to spend time with my gals
Frames: Auburn vs Mississippi State 🎥 🎞
My final set of frames from Auburn. Would have been nice to go out with a win but regardless I had a great time

Just a couple thoughts on the creative industry
1) If you don’t know, ask. I wouldn’t be the creator I am today if I didn’t ask questions from people better than me. There’s no shame in not knowing everything. No one else does. I know why people don’t ask. But fight it and ask.
For how social the sports creative community is. Not a ton of legitimate conversation. Do yourself and the world a favor. Reach out to someone today. Shoot a dm, tell someone you appreciate their work or are inspired by them, or just check in. See how it’s going. Spread some love
Sports creative rant of the day:
One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone refers to someone as a videographer. It’s such a narrow minded perspective of what they do.
They’re the cinematographer the editor the shooter and so much more.
They’re storytellers.
PSA to video editors: just throwing effects on top of a video doesn’t make it good video. If it’s not a good video under the effects it won’t be a good video with the effects. That is all

Im frustrated seeing content for made to show off not to tell a story. Make content for who you work for. Tell a story. Youre not a content creator to put the next cool thing on your reel, youre a content creator to tell a story
You wanna get noticed? Tell a story, dont show off
Well, first season at Aubs in the books. Been a heck a ride and I can’t believe the experience I had and how much fun it was.
Shout out to
@SportsVid
for believing in me and teaching me along the way. Here’s to next season
Can we agree as a sports video industry. Putting a football player wearing full pads in the woods as of today isn’t hype anymore and that it’s over used.
1 year ago I was starting a new job and moving into a new place unpacking while watching Auburn basketball in the SEC tournament.
Today I’m leaving with the team to shoot the very same tournament for Auburn. Crazy blessed to get to do the coolest job in the world.
So I’ve always noticed there’s this weird thing where people are secretive over their editing or shooting techniques.
I don’t know why. I love helping people just as much or more as I do actually shooting and editing. You’ll never learn if you don’t ask. So shoot away

Pretty cool opportunity I’ve been given here with softball. Ive always wanted to do long form storytelling and I am finally getting a chance. Pretty cool. If you got some free time. Go check some out. They’re pretty awesome if you ask me
Before the team hits the field for Super Regionals, make sure to catch up on all things
