GBU18’s have made an astonishing move in Handball history first British team - to win a Silver in an international tournament - losing last night in the final at the IHF Trophy in Kosovo by just 5 points We have a GB Silver medalist @carshaltonboys ..... congratulations Rob!

Wow what an amazing few days it has been, over £1100 donated as well as tons of food. We have made a massive 461 hampers to go to local care homes and and to Queen Mary’s at St Helier Hospital. Thank you to students, parents and staff for making all this happen... so proud...😍

Yesterday marked #WhiteRibbonDay and @carshaltonboys we work today and every day to challenge misogynistic behaviours and raise awareness on male violence against women. We are so proud that our young men in our sixth form were involved the @suttoncouncil pledge event.

boys commemorated Canadian and Irish troops at Vimy, Newfoundland and Ulster Tower. Excellent guide Austin from @SommeAssoc told stories of horrors and resilience. Some kid were gifted artefacts found in Thiepval Wood where Ulster divisions attacked on the 1st day of the Somme.

A busy first day for the Battlefields trip! Visits to In Flanders Fields Museum, Lijssenthoek Cemetery, Essex Farm Cemetery and the Yorkshire trenches and we’ve now arrived safely at our accommodation. Looking forward to a day of visits in Ypres tomorrow.

Y9 historians have had a busy day in France today. Visits began with the Canadian memorial at Vimy Ridge, before heading over to the battlefields and memorials on the Somme. Boys have been excellent and are thoroughly worn out!

At Carshalton Boys, we recently welcomed some new members to our school family. For two weeks, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting 31 students from Taiwan, who travelled fourteen hours to take part in an English immersion programme 💛
