6 years ago today, I brought my favorite beagle home. 24 hours later, we learned she had parvovirus (usually lethal and expensive to treat). She survived several days of isolation, IVs, and dropping 70% of her weight. Franki recovered to be a shockingly large & stout beagle. 🐕🐾

Last weekend we hiked to Eagle Lake near Tahoe. There is no road access; the only way in is a 1.25 mile uphill climb to 7,000 ft. Not surprisingly, there weren't many people there. The crystal clear water was breathtaking. I'll post a video in the next post. ⛰️🚶‍♀️

The last gift I gave to my dad was this wooden collage. I wanted him to know that our happiness and success are the results of the groundwork he laid for us. He passed last night. RIP to the man that referred to a baseball field full of 10-year-olds as "men".
