Calvert Hall has hired Josh Ward ‘04 as head varsity

coach. He was selected from a talented candidate pool of over 40 individuals. Ward comes to The Hall after spending the past three seasons as the head coach and athletic director at Concordia Prep.
In the coming weeks, Calvert Hall College High School will break ground on a new 142,000 square foot artificial field which will feature two full playing fields. This new area will be used by the marching band, intramurals, and athletics.

Calvert Hall College High School announced the appointment of Gary Neal ’02 as the varsity basketball coach. Neal will also teach in the Social Studies department.
This morning members of the Calvert Hall community joined together before school for a prayer service for Mia Zinn, daughter of Chris Zinn, our longtime athletic trainer. Mia is suffering from a rare, severe illness. Please lift the Zinn family up in your prayers.
Augie Miceli, Sr., AFSC, has shared with the Calvert Hall community that he will retire at the conclusion of the 2018-2019 academic year. This marks the end of an era for the longest tenured faculty member who has given 60 years of service to the school.

Augie Miceli's viewing will take place on Tuesday, July 2, at CHC in the John G. Noppinger, Jr. '64 Commons from 2:00 p.m - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, July 3, at The Cathedral of Mary our Queen at 10:00 a.m.
Today we kicked off the 2020-2021 hybrid model. The Class of 2024 was on campus for their first day while the Classes of 2021, 2022, and 2023 attended virtually.
Three legends will retire from The Hall this academic year. Over the next few days we will highlight these individuals. First up, Mark Amatucci '70. He spent 36 years at The Hall, was named National Basketball Coach of the Year, and served as countless students school counselor.
Victor Janishefski has been a mainstay in the Calvert Hall Art Department since 1967. After teaching countless students, Mr. J is retiring. Thank you for your service and dedication. You will be missed.
Congratulations to Peter Moore ‘20 who was named to the Kohl's Kicking High School Class of 2020 All-American Team. After placing second at the prestigious Kohl’s National Underclassman Challenge, Moore rose to a

Calvert Hall has hired Dan Mulford ’05 as its next athletic director, effective July 1. Mulford takes over for Lou Eckerl, who announced his retirement in January after leading the Cardinals’ athletic department for the past forty years. Read more >>
