@bumble_bbgun That's a really good way of putting it. Short stories are a really, really, really good tool for getting comfortable with all of the steps of writing a cohesive story, without having to wait 60-80 thousand words to figure out if it's a good idea or not. Excellent for practicing

@CathuresArt Ironically, the cyclical nature of iterative writing is an idea that's touched on in my current story. It's a very engaging process, but I've had to learn to love it. It makes for a far, far more layered, complex, and professionally written story by the end.
