to announce that broadcaster & author Kate Adie has been named as the next Chancellor of BU. Kate was the BBC’s Chief News Correspondent from 1989 to 2003 & covered major international events.
The halls of residence situation is complex - many are owned & run by external accommodation providers & only a few are managed by BU. We are discussing rent payments with accommodation providers & our legal team in order to find a solution for our students as soon as possible.
We are extremely saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with all members of the Royal Family during this sad time and we thank her for her dedicated service.

Maritime archaeologists from BU have uncovered the remains of a medieval ship & its cargo dating back to the 13th century off the coast of Dorset, this makes it the earliest English medieval shipwreck site. Read more here:
