Yesterday I rewatched Enchanted for the first time in forever and it further dawned on me that Disney had the perfect 100th anniversary movie... in 2007.
Seriously Disney wtf happened
‘COYOTE VS ACME’ is now expected to be shelved and deleted forever.
Warner Bros wanted $75M - $80M for the film and rejected offers from Netflix, Amazon & Paramount, refusing to let them counter-offer.

The way Mr. Ping runs to Po with open arms, and how Po discovers where he came from along with who he is had me fuckin crying no joke
This movie's so good man 😭😭😭
@DynamoSuperX
What's even crazier is that she did this while also threatening to blacklist a dude with no money for voice actors because he used AI voices sparingly for his fan animation.
In fairness, she didn't know the art was AI generated until after she was told by everyone
@Schaffrillas
'Why Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate is a Cinematic Disaster' would sound good, but what about 'Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate is a Wasteful Metro-atrocity'
@Schaffrillas
One of DreamWorks Animation's most popular franchises next to Shrek returning to the big screen and yet we still have no official trailer for it...
As far as I'm aware too, the paint job became a huge tourist attraction outside of the movie and so the blue homes were there to stay.
Fr, imagine being a Spanish citizen unbeknownst to the movie and finding out someone's painting your house blue for the Smurfs movie
@CartoonCrave_
Tbh I'm more concerned about the fact the movies were announced today where 7,000+ workers are about to lose their jobs and Disney Plus subscribers dropping
Holy fuck it's like 5:39am as I'm typing I did NOT expect the amount of love this tweet got overnight. Pretty grateful for that honestly. Thank you for that 💖
@TheJakeneutron
It's weird how people still use the "Calarts" term that was coined by a sex offender.
Also if we didn't have this beanmouth style we wouldn't have gotten this legendary frame of animation
It would be a fool's errand to top this glorious frame of animation.
Not even some of the greatest legends in the medium of animation could possibly reach the height that this frame set.
Thank you,
@DaronNefcy
, for everything this image stands for 🥹🫡
@GeekyBlackGirl
I miss how expressive the animation was in its first season. I love season two and hell I don't even mind season three, but the animation looked noticeably more stuff and pretty bad.
@TheJakeneutron
The lore was kinda cool but I wish this show stayed as episodic with hints of continuity like how it started. It would be a bit less convoluted tbh. Maybe if this show gets a revival one day, what I'd want to see is its protagonists going through some form of redemption arc
@nescartridges
Tbh, Migration has the best art direction out of any Illumination movie solely for how expressive the design is. Also good that they cooled it with the motion blur
@_waveblitz
They said enough about TOH and SVTFOE's tonal whiplash, when are they gonna talk about Big City Greens without having to bad-mouth it? I didn't even watch that show and even I'm curious
@cartoonshi
Literally any recent Disney show that has even the most vague amount of overarching story has been gassed up by the community as the "next Gravity Falls" while cartoons like Big City Greens and Kiff are often overlooked simply for being episodic comedies
Seriously tho, how cool would it be if LEGO made Crash Bandicoot sets? Caddy would probably spend hundreds on top of the merchandise he already bought but still it'd be awesome
I get a lot of people hate Starco as a ship but can I just say that these comics by MoringMark do a better job at handling them as a couple than the show did?
@CocoaFox023
That statement makes me want to watch it even more so I can walk out thinking
"Watching this film was one of the most captivating, wonderful experiences I've ever had as a casual moviegoer, and genuinely gave me hope where cinema is heading"
@Schaffrillas
Both the Moana and HTTYD remakes out of all of them are prime examples of Hollywood completely running out of ideas to the point of running existing ideas into the ground
@CrispyFrise
Mostly because of the comedy consisting of sex jokes and excessive language. A clip was posted online of a particular scene in season two episode four and the show gained a lot more hate on the internet
@JoshuaTookes
I'd definitely consider these as precursors to what Spider Verse would become and its cultural impact
They rely heavily on stylization in ways no other animated movie did at the time
@Cynical_CJ
And don't even get me started on the deleted "Clod got that rizz" ad. That ad was posted right after the movie bombed which makes it even worse
@RiseFallNickBck
This was clearly foreshadowing Starco being a thing and the consequences it has.
Therefore, Raphael is right to feel a bit worried lol
