It is completely irresponsible for teachers and professors to not have any IDEA about accommodations and needs of a Deaf/HOH student in their class!

Ms. Salazar, the student, identified herself as Hard of Hearing. Please stop calling her hearing impaired

Update: The investigation can take up to three months and he will be on paid leave. 🙄

On Instagram many students from the college has spoken out and said he has a history of this behavior and has many complaints against him. But nothing was ever done

@Freelove19xx @ventura_college academic ableism is a poison used to keep disabled people from bettering their lives by constantly pressuring us to give up. i once had a professor tell me if i had to spend this much time in hospitals instead of class then biology wasn't the field for me.
