@deebasyed We felt trapped in the room, as he seemed really aggressive. We had plans to go to dinner and/or go out on the terrace and chill together. But we ended up just sat in our room all night with the door locked!

Just sharing this to express the shit women put up with, no need to check if I’m OK, we all know how normal stuff like this is 1/ I’m on holiday at the minute. I’m laying by the pool near two men, they were staring at me quite a lot but I, obviously, just ignore it

@deebasyed This happened to me and my sister in Charleston. A bloke who was staying there knocking on our door asking us to let us him in / come out and get in the jacuzzi with him. He wouldn’t stop knocking & shouting and then just stood outside our room for hours (texts w my husband)

@Treegrrrl @deebasyed I’m 100% with you in theory, but tbh even as a criminologist(!) and an outspoken feminist, I was a bit intimidated calling the police for this type of harassment in a city and country I don’t know that well (I would’ve been much more likely to do it at home)
