#goals #SixPackSummer I needed to change my mental state. Give myself some goals. I'm 42, 6'6", 225 lbs. I don't want a dad bod. I used to be fit for rugby at 27. I want to get back there. So my goals - a six pack for the summer and 7.5 min/mile run. Can I do it? You bet!

#ThursdayThoughts 13 years ago I was diagnosed with depression. I had suffered unknowingly for many years but a breakup put me down and I sought help and meds. I remember when the meds kicked in. I smiled and felt joy for the first in a long time. The cloud was lifted.

Thanks to my dad for rewiring Grammy's old ceramic tree. It was passed on to me after she passed away. She was 98. It will light her memory for many years to come and remind me how amazing she was. I will always miss her and her sour dough biscuits!

I lost a friend tonight. His battle with brain cancer is over. He fought it for 3 years. I knew him for 20. He is the first friend of my age I have lost to cancer. I knew all week this call was coming. The hurt doesn't change. Cheers Dave. You will be missed. Fuck cancer!

#MondayMotivaton The nursing homes in my mom's hometown put out a call to the local sewers to make masks for them. Cuz something is better than nothing. My mom made 4 with her own material and 14 more with some supplied. So proud of my mom for helping! Little things matter

#goals #SixPackSummer #accountability I started my journey 3 months ago to push myself. I reached my sub 7.5 min/mile pace but I haven't found that six pack. Ultimately I needed to make changes in my mental state and get fit to keep up with 3 and all her energy. Job done. 💙

On my way home last night I was the third on site of a two truck collision. Cuz I have training, I didn't hesitate and called EMS and attended to the vehicle occupants. Please, take a course in first aid, CPR. You never know when you will need it. All 3 people walked away.

Just cracked a beer with this sweet opener. The bat was one of my Grandpa's from when he played way back. He was really good and won provincials at one point. My dad put the opener in it so I can relive the memory of my gramps every time I use it. So cool!
