Big personal moment in mkts - have sold down the bulk (c93%) of #SQZ . Owned from 6p levels, it hit a high of 139p on Fridays update. Profit return is best ever, beats my 2017 exit from #FXPO . My deep gratitude to the Chair for the deals worked. Am retaining surplus for new growth

Very cheap P/CF,EV/EBITDA,PE multiples should never be overlooked.Requires attn. Usually debt ratios, medium-high risk event in play but then it’s about cashflow validation,de-risk rns’. Sometimes the name is just too discounted vs the sector tho! Make it a big year for research

Can't quite believe I'm heading to a best mates funeral today, left us at just 33. Had a wife of 1yr+ and a baby boy of five months. An epic friend and such a massive loss to all those that knew him. So many happy and funny memories, will be missed forever. RIP Michael Hawthorn x

Will be around for three months min. When I went full time those many moons ago, I had targets.They’ve been comfortably beaten - six names in particular did it. The big time both ways is in the holding. I intend to make ‘Retirement’ fulfilling -two years to go for it before 40 😁

Still in a bit of a daze at the moment re the #SQZ update. I own what many have considered a crazy amount since mid 2015 so it's really meaningful on a personal level. It's phenomenal value creation and execution by the management. You invest for moments/delivery like this.

I have called for #FXPO to achieve billions in net cash this decade. **At spot prices** , Barclays in their ‘European Mining Q4 M2M’ have them on almost $1.4BN NET CASH in 2022 -up from todays $4M. 50 years reserves at current mining rates! The Apple of mining ahead 😉 #Ferrexpo

(1)A couple of real non starters,nine calls that doubled but the year in the markets made by the two top FTSE picks #FXPO and #PFD . 144% (excluding income) and 397% advances on 0.36% and 0.34% equity - PFD recently reduced to 0.1%. I hope some of the calls,content helpful to you

Punch the air time! Largest holding #FXPO smashes analysts consensus and achieves NET CASH,a $178m swing vs H1 end. Consensus was $89m net debt. This achieved despite paying out 26.4cents in H2 dividends or c.$155m. Annualised production set to rise too after expansion #Ferrexpo

Afentra re-rating to new recent highs. Peel Hunt recently upgrading prior free cash flow expectations from $33m to $58m for 2024. That could quite easily be conservative too. Market cap is just £82.5m for these kind of numbers. The biggie of course is that there's no stretched

Major news from #RRE ! The biz will acquire Marathon Oils north Sea assets for $140m (cash and debt by looks of it). In the process, Rockrose leapfrog from 35.9mmboe to 70.9mmboe in 2p reserves. Cost c$4bbl (cheap). Net 2019 boepd set to soar from 13k to 24k! #RockRoseEnergy

Getting as much downside multiples protection aids confidence. Usually valid reasons for lower P/E, Ev/ebitda, P/NAV multiples but these setups do present. Backed by good cashflows/deleveraging? Growth forecasts, fading multiples? Wishing you a very healthy and prosperous 22

#KIST a UK and Dutch nat gas biz that’s accumulating cash at a rapid pace (well north of £1m/day) and has already achieved net cash. The enterprise value turns negative at current pricing, valuation in ‘23. Expect a big turn soon enough on this.

I am allocating X in cash a week to these markets. That will involve buying lower levels,higher levels but with an emphasis on weaker sessions and intradays. My view is that a spectacular recovery does happen and there won’t be any ‘with hindsight’ or regret as I am participating

Goldman’s raise their Q2 and Q3 forecasts for #BrentCrude to $75 and $80. JPMorgan calling OPEC+ decision the “most bullish outcome we could have expected”. UBS hiking their H2 numbers to $75.

Consolidation has been extremely healthy but #KIST is the cheapest multiple of any O&G - and it's Holland, UK coming. Ridiculous sums if using spot (now at €188mwh but curve stretching into '23). I genuinely don't think many have done the latest numbers. Two brokers also!

Over the moon to see #ARCM , #ArcMinerals finally over the line with mining giant #AngloAmerican . It’s been almost a year since taking a sizeable stake and it’s been both testing and opportunity cost. Now, the story has fundamentally switched as Anglo fund the journey ahead.

Holding Afentra still screening as one of the highest free cash yields for 2024. Production outperforming expectations, oil prices strong. The Azule transaction is set to close in due course, balance sheet grows and M&A optionality really steps up. Exciting times ahead in view.

Wife in serious pain yesterday so contacted travel insurer @AvivaUK . My thanks to them & team involved-incredibly pro, tests & ultrasounds carried out very quickly, wife admitted, getting the best of care in hospital. Plenty of poor reviews in this space, they've been superb

Absolutely thrilled to see Ferrexpo announcing a dividend this morning. It's less the amount and more that they are actually doing it. This will be (as I've said before) either a 7 figures loss or nearer to a 8 figures win so any pay-out in the short term is obviously major.
