I have a very soft spot for carinderias. My mom used to run one in Marawi. The entire household ran it: buying ingredients, chopping & cooking, washing dishes, floor service, etc. We went home during lunches to help. The carinderia gave us our respective diplomas. And more.

The fact that our Catholic community is permitted to hold mass in a university facility is proof of MSU’s commitment to fostering an inclusive community for all. The university gymnasium has been home to Sunday mass for as long as I can remember. MSU is a victim here, too.

For me, the FIRST paragraph of an answer must contain these elements: Yes/No + Law + Facts. "Yes, the invention may still be patended under the doctrine of non-prejudicial disclosure, as it is the inventor himself who disclosed the invention within 12 months from application."

USC Law defeats Ateneo Law in semis of this year's Jessup national rounds. For the nth time, it will go head to head against UP Law in the finals. Regardless of the result, both USC and UP have earned the right to represent the Philippines in the global rounds in Washington DC!

Allow me to highlight how difficult it is to secure the Jessup Cup, the Olympics of mooting. The Philippines first won in 1995 (UP Law) and it took another 9 years to secure a second win (Ateneo Law in 2004). We waited an incredible 20 years to claim our third title. 20 years.

My Papang has been saving for a water dispenser. Nag-aamoy palapa, gulay, and leftover food daw kasi ang pitchers of water namin sa ref. Bought one today while he was away. His reaction tho—a gentle reminder that small things can go a long way especially sa parents natin. ❤️

It turns out 2 of the USC candidates did not actually take the bar at the last minute. 😯😯😯 So, USC's passing rate based on actual takers would be 99.057% (105/106) for Batch 2020 and 99.02% (100/101) for Batch 2021. 💚💛

As students in Labor Law Review, we were divided into groups of 3, each group to look for, and handle, a labor matter pro bono. Our group won a labor matter for a security guard. And so did other groups in the batch. Lawyering for the underprivileged. That's what JMM taught us.
