Ethiopia observer issue 5 also had a painting by Afework Tekle on the cover. Issue 9 had one by a traditional painter. And issue 8 a painting of Pushkin, seemingly with Ethiopian ancestry.

Thanks! Ethiopia Observer ran for 18 years from 1956 to 1974. The first 4 years were monthly and after that quarterly. The first four issue covers have pictures of paintings by Maitre Artiste Afework Tekle.
