@ajlees @AlbertoEspay the interesting thing about aggregation hypotheses is that they can often be interpreted both as a gain of toxic oligomers / aggregates or loss of functional monomers. Much evidence doesn't really distinguish these two hypotheses, although some does (variant phenotypes e.g.)
