. Nonviolent crime isn't punished so little fear of repercussions. People dump trash and animals - steal copper wire from pumps and solar - pretty depressing at times. Lack of respect

. Pretty frustrating. The effort and

to result in this. As a nonviolent crime there are few repercussions. A sad day for us on the

I hear reports of this pretty regularly from avocado growers in my area. Sometimes when they stop someone who is reaching over a fence to pick the fruit their reaction is akin to "What? Aren't these for anyone?" Many who steal end up selling at roadside stands - at a discount.
