I am pleased to announce that today Lyne F.C have put in application to play in the F.A Vase for the very first time next season. Club history in the making!⚽️😉
Lyne F.C have today submitted application to potentially play step 6 football next season (If we pull our finger out that is). Some may say “that’s a bit keen” but you have to forward plan or you get left behind!.

With Government and F.A guidelines saying we can continue with training and matches (U18's youth). Are we the only club out there that thinks this is completely bonkers and that these guidelines put a massive pressures on committees/volunteers up and down the Country?
Stage 2 complete. All managers have completed their visual induction of Covid safe youth training at Lyne F.C. The Club are completely comfortable to go with a reduced schedule of training next Saturday and Sunday. Massive thank you to Lyne Core committee!
@surreyfa
Follow events on an away pitch a week ago,which fortunately turned out well, we have reviewed our emergency response procedures, enhanced our defibrillator kit and added a buggy to allow us to get emergency equipment to all our pitches quickly.

Getting very frustrated now. We have spent weeks planning our return to training. Yet, loads of teams and clubs throughout the U.K are breaking F.A/government guidance and putting people at risk!. I have no doubt pushing back our start date to normal contact sport. Thanks !
Lyne F.C purchased this piece of kit from
@veosharesport
a couple of weeks ago and have already covered 7 youth matches and two seniors. The feedback from our age groups has been excellent, with all in total agreement it’s a fantastic coaching tool and worth the investment. 👍👍
Massive credit must go to Ascot United ahead of today’s match. The preparation, information, guidance, and details supplied has been spot on! It leaves you with no doubts or reservations about the game itself. Looking forward to a enjoyable match!
I can't put my finger on it but there is something special about our squad this season. Two didn't get on, Four not selected and there supporting, three out on dual reg and all engaged after on the group after. Top top lads with strength in depth. 1-0 win and we go again Saturday
Lyne F.C would like to thank Surrey F.A for recognising Lyne Football Clubs hard work in creating a covid safe training ground for all age groups. A massive thank you must go out to our Core Committee and coaches for continuing to do such a fantastic job
@surreyfa
@FootballGrf
Congratulations to Lyne FC 'Legend' John Cane who was voted Life President of the club on Thursday night. Recognition for 8 years service to the club including managing teams, groundwork and Vice Chairman roles (and others to numerous to mention!).

73 of our youth membership involved in training this weekend. Lyne F.C are now confident and comfortable we can accommodate 90% of membership next weekend (Double). Feedback from parents is outstanding. Thanks coaches, Players and parents for making this all possible.❤️😉
A Sad day today saying goodbye to Jubilee High, we have loved playing there but its time to move to the fantastic facilities of Ascot United. A nice send off however with a 2-0 victory over a very good Merrow F.C side.
156 playing members took to the Lyne F.C training grounds this weekend without one glitch. As Lyne F.C have no economy to think about we will be sticking to 2m social distancing until contact sport returns. Thank you to all involved in a top job this weekend! 👏👏👏👏
A new look side, or an old look side if you know the clubs history won 4-0 today against what seemed a relatively full strength Chessington KC squad. We move on 2 the next! Thank you to Chessington for respecting the facilities, changing rooms left A1.
7 points in three games, we will take that over a mad August bank holiday. 25 different players involved in three separate matches. No reserve team and all players happy to play a part. Chuffed is the word that comes to mind!!!!
Unlike the Premiership, Lyne F.C do not have Covid 19 tests on demand. So to try and bridge this huge difference a little, all our members will have their temperature taken prior to training.
After this evening full management committee meeting, Lyne F.C have unanimously agreed that our youth teams will not be playing any form of competitive football in January and The Club will review again at the end of the month.
99% of last seasons membership re joined and registered. 98% signed Covid consent forms, All members received info video and guidance sheet. Groups selected for this weekend. We are good to resume reduced number Covid safe YOUTH training this weekend. HURRAH 👏
2 views of the winning goal, into injury time, a brutal way for the match to finish for

The pitch has been prepared for tomorrows massive

intermediate County Cup quarter final. The surface is in top notch shape so no excuses for not being able to play on the deck. We look forward to welcoming our opponents

tomorrow. 🏆🏆⚽️⚽️
The winning goal in yesterdays League Cup semi final. The dying seconds of extra time and with penalties looming the celebration says it all! Looking forward to the finals now.

Tomorrow unfortunately will be our last game played at Ascot United. A massive thank you to Ascot for being fantastic landlords and good friends. All the very best in the vase and step four. It’s been a pleasure to ground share with great people. Lyne F.C
It was a complete pleasure to host
@AscotUnitedFC
yesterday, brilliant group of players and management team. We have no doubt that Ascot will go very well in the
@ComCoFL
this coming season and certainly one to keep an eye on! 😉👍
☀️ we would like to thank Nigel and
@lyne_fc
for hosting us in our first pre-season game, a fantastically well run club who will ground share with us on our new 3G pitch.
Great to see regular and new faces turning out for the

Lyne F.C would like to invite any official/s from
@surreyfa
to attend our youth matches this Sunday to see what we are going through at the youth football front-line, It will give all a better picture of what’s happening at a weekend. 10 games at home, we are there from 7.30am.
Due to a nasty injury to a Lyne F.C player yesterday our friendly against Cobham U23's had to be abandoned. Our thoughts are with Tyler Robinson, we all wish him well and hope for a speedy recovery.
We have so many things in common with Ascot United with the most important being youth progression. Great result chaps and and well deserved! congrats from all at Lyne F.C

I’m sure that talk have been going on a good few days over this between Surrey FA and Surrey youth Leagues (And certainly before Boris’s statement tonight came to light) I’m sure all clubs will join Lyne F.C In saying thank you to all involved in this 100% right decision.👏👏
Good to get points on the board in our opening match at step 7, against a strong
@RHOBFC
side. We still have a lot to work on but a reasonable performance over all. Good luck in the season to Holloway! as always a pleasure to play against.
Today we welcomed Runnymede environmental health to do a food Hygiene inspection on the Lyne F.C catering truck. I am please to announce we achieved the top rating of five. Well done to Julie for keeping up the Lyne F.C standards in the food hygiene world!!! 🍴☕️👏👏👏
Without any football over the weekend we are unable to show our respect for the people that gave their lives for what we are and have today. We will still remember !
The adult (men’s) section of Lyne F.C has expanded considerably in the closed season. This season Lyne F.C will be fielding 3 men’s teams, youth to adult development team, reserve team and 1st team. This will complete the pathways from Soccer school (U6’s) to 1st team. 😀
Ground work tonight in preparation for the new catering facility... and trimming the edges of the pitches ready for new season. A big thank you to all those who came to help.

Great to host newly promoted
@HanworthVillaFC
in a pre-season match. Enjoyed catch up with old friends. Best of luck with the season ahead in step 4 football, Top people and top club.
Well... with the 2019/20 season being names the season that was but wasn't. Lyne F.C have decided to make a personal decision to give
@worcesterparkfc
the Elite title and
@GuildfordUnited
the intermediate Western title! Well done lads. 🏆🏆😉👍
Lyne F.C are very proud to announce that the all new Lyne F.C Ladies recreational team will be starting their League fixtures on the 11th November. The Ladies will play once a month home or away, which culminates in an exciting finals day at the Surrey F.A headquarters.
No increase in youth membership fees this year. Covid 19 has hit family finances hard and we appreciate the worry this will cause. We have reduced initial registration fee from £80.00 to £10.00 and the balance will be spread over the following months.
@surreyfa
@SurreyFootball
Another great run out today for yet another 22 players being involved. That now brings us up to 33 different players being given the opportunity to shine in first two games. A massive thankyou to
@TheSpellyFC
as always for their welcome and hospitality.
Lyne F.C have reopened our books in search of committed players of a good ability that want to move up the levels. We have now made our move to a fantastic facility at Ascot United, no fees as fully sponsored, top kit and backroom staff and so on. Nigel: 07951-046489

Disappointed we are not playing over Xmas but pleased people have made the right decision to protect our elders. At last common sense kicks in. To all our members, local clubs, Leagues, County F.A and the F.A, have a great Xmas and Happy new year. Lyne F.C
Lyne F.C is pleased to announce a new substantial kit sponsorship deal with Mayfair we care (Part of The Mayfair group). We are overwhelmed with appreciation that they have agree to be sponsors for the 1st team for 2019/20.
Thank you so much!
It’s happening….. Lyne FC are going to seriously rekindle the history of Addlestone FC and re-brand. A stones throw from there ground and our home embedded in addlestone. Next season we will be the Rolling Stones and will work hard to connect our local community. More 2 follow…
So we end the first half of our 2018/19 campaign, Joint top of the League, Through to quarter finals of the League Cup and in the last 16 of the Surrey County Cup. Considering we had a rocky start in our first couple of matches, we will take that!😎
Congratulations to our club sponsor Richard Grace and his team at

Welcome to the all new and old Addlestone F.C. Over the coming months we will be working hard to rekindle and reunite Addlestone with its very own football club once again. Full club statement to follow.
Do you know what...We feel training with social distancing and small numbers on the whole has been a positive experience for both players and coaches. Coaches being very adaptive and players being disciplined but having far more ball time. 1st team looked very sharp today!
Complete respect to
@HorsleyFC_
well deserves result and one that was a true reflection of the game. Good referee, Competitive match with better team winning. Well done Horsley, you where much better than us today.
Amazing what effect sunshine and rain has on football pitches. A quick buzz over with the mower and check these out. The surfaces are the best we have ever seen them this year.
A different look side this week with a better balance. I thought we bossed first half but second half we were asked questions of. We are starting to show glimmers of what we have but not fully there yet. As always a great bunch of lads at Guildford who we have the utmost respect
I know this is a little controversial, but Lyne F.C would give their right arm to be able to play at step 6/5 with no gate, food or drink revenue because apart from an extra couple of quid for officials at home games... nothing would change for us as a club financially.
So once again for the fourth year running we have entered the step 7 to step 6 F.A National application lottery. let the curve balls commence throughout our level and those above. Good luck to all contenders, legitimate and otherwise.

Not the best performance from our boys this evening, but
@milford_witley
made it very tricky working so hard. A draw at full time would have been fair, but we managed to nick it in injury time. Massive respect to all of Milford and
@milford_witley
, great bunch of lads!
Big day tomorrow and Sunday with 90% of our youth in Covid safe training. If the Government needs any advice from Lyne F.C on managing beaches in the U.K please pick up the phone.
Lyne F.C have got a good few questions from fellow clubs on why we are doing a managers/coaching induction… The answer is a visual presentation of what is expected by manager/coaches is far more successful than a text document. Look at YouTube for proof.
New kit sponsor

fantastic support for this season with home/away kit, training kit, polo’s, subs and waterproofs. Shirt design in memory of Stuart Williams. Photo shoot to follow after kit delivery (by forklift as there is a lot!!)

Excellent game of football today with Lyne Ladies taking on Kingswood Ladies. Kingswood came out win the narrow victory 1-2. The match was a great advert for The ladies flexible League with both teams playing some fantastic football . Well done all involved!!
@surreyfa
Unfortunately we have had a very late cancellation to tomorrow’s friendly as the club are not willing to follow the
@FA
’s guidance.
Proud of my club for setting the standards but this
#LetFansIn
campaign is for nothing if these clubs believe they are above the governing body.
As pre-seasons matches go, today was very enjoyable experience with a brilliant bunch of lads and management from
@Cobham_FC
. An absolute pleasure to host! Have a brilliant season chaps!😉👍
This evening Lyne F.C managers attended (Club initiative) a CPD on mental health first aid and safeguarding children. The main focus being children coming back to the training ground post lockdown. It was fantastic! more info to share tomorrow as highly recommended.
When the pressure is on to get players registered (Before they go off on holiday) and you have to supply a head shot of each player with white background.... you sometimes have to improvise on the training ground.😉👍
A massive well done today to
@GuildfordUnited
who are worthy winners of our Cup encounter. A good cup match to be honest against a great group of lads which had a better worth ethic and understanding of each other. Lyne F.C wishes
@GuildfordUnited
every success going forward.
If you don't score you don't win......A simple overview of todays match against Ripley. Not to dilute Ripley's performance which was very good and did not reflect their League position. Best of luck to Ripley for the rest of the season.
A lovely evening for a pre-season match this evening. As always a very competitive match with both teams giving their all. one day we may win one... Thanks for the hospitality as always. We would like to wish our friends at Ascot United every success in the coming season.
