This. Crypto’s current active users take actions that span multiple applications. Getting users into wallets that are both easy to use AND move across crypto with them is necessary to unlock the user journeys that have been necessary to actually retain ecosystem participants.

Web wallets (what Wilson calls a smart wallet here) don't exist yet outside of testnet. They have no downloadable app, don't require social login, and are powered by passkeys. They are a new thing that will change everything.

Re: @Ledger news - every product has a contract w/ its users and especially in crypto, everything is opt-in. But violating that contract is serious. Wallets are highly trusted products and self custody is a spectrum. We need a range of options to sign transactions on-chain.

the unabashed flex/exclusivity culture in crypto rn reminds me a bit of web2/startup culture ~8 years ago(and from what I'd heard before that); swag, parties, fomo, an obsession w/ popularity the optimism & joy is so amazing...the lack of self awareness not so much

Also been thinking about this! Mapping intents to transaction groups requires some nomenclature for curation/grouping of contract calls. Probably one of the actual applications of AI+Crypto.

The trickiest part of intents is going to deriving constraints from existing existing smart contract calls. Swaps are the easiest intents but users/devs should be able to create an intent from any smart contract interaction via simulation and query planning.
