This is so reckless. Blood needs to be safe, it's screened & tested for disease, blood type etc. It has to be separated into different elements - platelets, FFPs, RBCs... All of this requires equipment, lab personnel, storage & transport etc. We pay for the process not the blood.

I feel like throwing up, so many of my colleagues have gotten Covid-19 from patients, some still recovering, some even in ICU & ppl are still reckless. I have to don PPE everyday, I cant see my family, we have to manage limited resources & ppl are spitting in our faces like this.
